Pardeep Singh (38) a resident of Khakat village was killed when a speeding car rammed into a motorcycle (PB-91L-1785) near canal bridge at Pawa village on the evening of April 11.
Avinash Pandey a co-worker who was driving the two-wheeler told the police that a car bearing registration no PB-10CU-0140 hit the motorcycle injuring both the riders.
He said later Pradeep Singh who was taken to the PGI Chandigarh for treatment succumbed to injuries.
