Police Commissioner Rakesh Agrawal said a tip-off was received that the accused were members of a gang of snatchers and they had committed several mobile phone snatchings in the city. As per information the gang was on the way to sell snatched mobile phones to some persons on the Dhandra road. The police said the accused had committed over 12 mobile phone snatchings in the city in the recent past and now their police remand would be sought for further interrogation. The police said efforts would be made to hand over the recovered mobile phones and those sold by the accused to their owners.
