Earlier samples that were collected from Circular Road near Daresi Ground had failed the quality tests last year. An official of MC said after the negative results the contractor was asked to reconstruct the portion of the road but the work was unsatisfactory. He further said “We have directed the contractor to reconstruct the road portion after removing the old layer. “If the road samples fail the quality tests the contractor concerned should be blacklisted.
