He was in Ludhiana today to attend an event organised by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to welcome new members to the party.
On the occasion Cheema said during the farmers' agitation AAP served farmers in the best possible way.
Responding to a query Cheema said the AAP government in Delhi had not implemented any new farm law.

He said the recent meetings and parleys between the agitating farmer groups and senior ministers is a step towards addressing all fears and misconceptions.
Bhandari added the Central government of BJP has taken all the interests and long-standing economic duress of the agrarian sector of the nation while coming out with these revolutionary laws which will uplift the stagnant income of the farming community.
He added the government was open to dialogue and would listen patiently to all the apprehensions of the farmers and address their issues.
