Civil Surgeon Dr Kiran Gill said 87409 cases from Ludhiana district and 11633 cases from other districts or states have been confirmed.
A total of 2095 patients of Ludhiana and 1047 of other districts have succumbed to the virus to date as per the record of the Health Department Ludhiana.
A total of 9266 samples were collected for Covid testing today.
Out of 87409 confirmed cases of Ludhiana district 79705 patients with 1784 deceased persons belonged to Ludhiana city subdivision while the remaining cases belonged to five other subdivisions including Jagraon Raikot Khanna Samrala and Payal in the district.
